ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Eastman Kodak
Company (NYSE: EK) today introduced KODAK Imaging Technology for mobile
devices, combining Kodak’s unparalleled experience in Imaging Science with
the company’s signature ease-of-use and vast portfolio of photography
products. Working closely with leading handset manufacturers and service
providers, Kodak will deliver an outstanding mobile imaging experience to
redefine the quality, convenience and connectivity of mobile imaging
devices.

“There are more than 600 million digital images captured each day, and
more and more photos are being taken with mobile devices,” said John Blake,
general manager of digital capture and imaging devices group, and vice
president, Eastman Kodak Company. “KODAK Imaging Technology addresses the
three main issues that frustrate consumers about these shots - poor image
quality, difficulty transferring images off their mobile devices, and the
inability to easily share images with family and friends.”

KODAK Imaging Technology combines features developed for Kodak’s award-
winning line of EASYSHARE Digital Cameras, enabling mobile devices with
comparable imaging quality to what one would expect from a consumer digital
camera. Smart Capture technology, which automatically adjusts and
determines camera settings in any environment, and KODAK PERFECT TOUCH
Technology, which generates brighter, more vivid pictures, help ensure the
best quality for each image captured. In addition, a seamless connection to
Kodak’s vast ecosystem of products and services - KODAK EASYSHARE Software,
KODAK Gallery, KODAK All- in-One Inkjet Printers, KODAK Picture Kiosks and
KODAK Digital Frames - provides a variety of ways to edit, organize, share
and enjoy pictures.

KODAK Imaging Technology works in conjunction with KODAK Image Sensors,
as well as sensors from other leading manufacturers, providing flexibility
to manufacturers. Service providers appreciate the many options Kodak
offers for uploading images, enabling flexibility by geographic region and
consumer plan.

“As the inventor of the world’s first digital camera and with more than
100 years of imaging experience, Kodak offers an incomparable depth of
knowledge in imaging, and a brand heritage that consumers identify with,”
Blake said. “With KODAK Imaging Technology, our partners can reduce
research and development costs by focusing on delivering an excellent phone
experience, while relying on Kodak’s imaging expertise, worldwide
engineering support, and go-to-market assistance.”
