announced support for international characters and non-English
languages and other new community capabilities to help expand its use

(DEMO 08) introduced a software development kit (SDK) and version 1.5
of its free, beta SproutBuilder software that expands the capabilities
of its widgets and banners to place telephone calls, show video blogs,
collect data, survey audiences, and display messages.

(DEMO 08) a provider of pre-production staging and testing solutions
for IT operations teams, named a “Cool vendor in IT operations” by
Gartner in a 2008 report on innovative solutions.

(DEMOfall 07) this week announced it is indexing video content from The
Hill, a leading political newspaper. The company will index all current
and future content from The Hill’s video channel (HillTube), including
streaming videos from the site’s Leading the News, Opinion and Capital
Living features.

(DEMOfall 07) announced it is opening its free service to the public.
The service allows anyone to create and host a Web meeting, and share
their desktop, show documents and slides, collaborate via whiteboard,
as well as talk via Internet audio through any Web browser (no
additional downloads required by attendees).

(DEMOfall 07) the language learning social network, added new courses
for Russian, Italian, Japanese, and Portuguese bringing its total to 10
languages. The company said membership has reached 400,000 in more than
200 countries since its launch last September. The company also
launched the “Livemocha Language Poke” application for Facebook, which
allows users to send messages in German, French, Spanish, Hindi, or
Mandarin Chinese.

(DEMOfall 07) announced that the first two partners in its MatchKey
Partner Network, Fuzz.com and FilmCrave.com have gone live with its
Matchmine Media Discovery Platform. The company also announced four new
members of the Matchmine Partner Network, Odeo, Blogdigger, Blogged and
MediaMelon, as well as a new partnership with IODA, a digital
distribution company for the global independent music community.

(DEMOfall 07) a Montreal-based scheduling service company, has launched
a free beta that lets Microsoft Outlook users easily coordinate
meetings with uses of iCal, Google Calendar, and Lotus Notes. Tungle
is breaking into the $2 billion groupware market (IDC) with a
full-featured solution for the 550 million Microsoft Outlook users.
