SILVER SPRING, Md., Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ — Petfinder.com, the No. 1
pet-related site on the Web, announced today that through its site,
potential adopters will now have access to advice, tips and regimens from
top adoption behavior specialists. Adopters will also have access to online
training videos featuring the new Petfinder.com trainers.

The addition of the Petfinder.com trainers comes as a result of an
innovative partnership between Petfinder.com and PetsIncredible, a pet
media group that produces a wide range of reward-based training videos. The
companies partnered to achieve their common goal of finding a forever home
for all adoptable pets through supporting new pet parents before, during
and after the point of adoption.

The new Petfinder.com trainers include Kellyann Conway, the recently
appointed President of The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), and
Traci Theis who will regularly engage with users through the popular
message boards, an active blog site as well as through frequent question
and answer sessions.

“Our mission goes far beyond simply placing homeless pets into new
homes,” said Betsy Saul, co-founder of Petfinder.com. “We are committed to
ensuring that all of our pets are safely and easily integrated into their
new family. Our new Petfinder.com trainers specialize in the needs of
adoptable pets and could not be a better match to help us accomplish our
dream of wiping out the need for shelters and rescue groups.”

Both Petfinder.com and PetsIncredible were acquired last year by media
giant Discovery Communications.
