LITTLE ROCK, Ark. and AUSTIN, Texas-DECEMBER 11, 2007. Whether waiting in line at the movies, riding in a taxicab, or on the go, Alltel customers can now shop from their BlackBerry smartphones.
Alltel Wireless (NYSE: AT), America’s largest network, providing coverage across the nation, today introduced Digby Powered by Alltel, a free mobile shopping service for new Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM) BlackBerry® smartphone users. As a result, Alltel customers will have easy access to products from an expanding list of retailers that includes Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Godiva Chocolatier, and FTD.com. Customers can easily access Digby by going to alltel.com/smartphone from their wireless device and selecting Digby.
